I just received my 3 credit scores from MyFico:
Experian: 805
TransUnion: 705
Equifax: 692
The only reason for the "dip" in scores for TransUnion & Equifax: a $16.97 outstanding charge to CreditFirstNA(Firestone). They claim I was 60 days delinquent - I never received the first bill, never received the 30 day notice and when I finally got the 60 day notice - very surprised, I called and I paid immeditately over the phone.
Something does not seem right with CreditFirst and it's a shame that it cost me over 100 points!!
All of my other payments, (including my current mortgage, auto payments, credit cards etc.. etc.. are very good to great. I'm in the process of selling and buying another home. IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO??? Will mortgage lenders listen to my story here, especially seeing an 805 Experian score?

Thank you. I will definitely draft a GW Letter to TransUnion and Equifax, considering my very good past credit history.

A GW letter to the CRA's will do no good since they only REPORT what is provided and have no right to change what is reported. Your GW letter should go to the CREDITOR.
