Credit One?

Funniest thing happen to me.  Credit One calls me out of the blue (I never applied with them) and they ask to send me their card, so because the card would not be charged until I activate it.  Well, I decided not to and then I get a invoice for $20.  I never given the sales person my social security number, just verified my name and mailing address.  Do I need to get intouch with someone to report this agency?  The CS person just told me I had given them my social security number (heck no).  What's up with this.  I have a Tribune Card and it is really helping me with my score.  I started with a 535 with some ups and downs on the score watch and now I am at 588 and not looking behind meSmiley Very Happy
