Credit Score dropped 99 points??

When I paid off a previous account, my credit score took a 60 point dive. It seems like the credit scoring does not like a $0 balance. Especially if you had that balance for awhile.

How did you pull the new report?  What report are you comparing it to?

There's definitely a cause as any scoring model uses the data in a report to generate a score.
