Can someone explain to me why there is such a wide point spread between TU, EQ, and EXP? Don't they all use the same method to come up with a score? It would stand to reason that the scores would then all be the same...?
KP, they all use fico, but they all have a different algorithm for calculating the scores. So, even if the information were reported EXACTLY the same (it never is) on all three CRs, there would still be a disparity in the scoring. EQ & EX have score ranges of 300-850 and TU has ranges from 336-843.
Crikey too much math... I guess the only thing that matters is that the scores continue to travel North... I wonder how that's all gonna change now with the new FICO system that I read about...
