I currently have poor credit as a result of several missed payments on my credit cards. I was deployed with the military and had trouble making payments on time. The cards, however, are in my ex-wife's name. If I am an authorized user, and am removed from that status, how will that affect my score? Will those reports fall off, or will they stay with me until the balances are paid down?
