Credit check total charges after cancel

My mom's checking statement got a $30 debit from Experian. It was from the $1 credit trial and she canceled in time but had to wait on hold 20 minutes to get a refund and email saying she's opted out.

Check your statements especially in light of the Equifax hack.

CCT does screw up with this at times.  I've probably done 40 different $1 trials and 3 times I was charged a monthly fee after cancelling.  All 3 times though CS was extremely helpful, apologetic and prompt to refund me the monthly charge that showed up.  IMO, it's a small price to pay (a little time) for a great service that costs next to nothing.
