Credit inquiry - Possible fraud

I received a notice on my score watch that an inquiry was made to open a new account in my name by equifax canada.  Not a very patient person and having trouble running it down.  Can someone please tell me where or how to go about finding the details on this?  The alert gives me nothing, equifax canada gives me nothing, any help appreciated.  Thanks.

If you pulled your EQ report from either Equifax.com or annualcreditreport then you'd see the inquiry and it'll provide the contact info for that.
