Credit score

Will a few late payments that are only a day or two past date affect credit score? We always pay our bills and never had any issues otherwise.

No, anything less than 30 days late will only cost you fees from your creditor.  Your payments don't get reported as "late" to the credit bureaus until they are 30+ days late.

As stated above, lates are typically reported when 30+ days.  However, you can incur fees, penalty APR's, etc.
