DOLA an entire year after DOFD

Can this be correct?  The OC fell off of my TU report 8/2007.  Equifax is showing that it will not age off until 8/2008.  Isn't the longest something can remain on your report 7.5 years after DOFD?  I believe the DOLA is when the OC sold the account.

Dispute with the CRA. If they verify, then DV with the CA.  It SHOULDNT verify if the dates are right.  If they do, and you are right, then its illegal reaging.

Thanks for the input!  I have disputed it, and they reported a different balance shortly after the dispute, however I don't think it has been verified as of yet, as I have not yet received anything from CSC.  Is that possible?  That they update the balance but don't verify account?  TrueCredit is showing "Consumer disputes - reinvestigation in progress".
