DV Process - What is it?

I am new here, what is the DV process.  I have looked in the FICO 101 thread and do not see it.  Thanks!

A DV  is sent to a CA  & is a demand for info. They must prove many things.

The best time to send a DV is  while disputing with CRA  and is sent CMRRR
