Practically, particulrly in view of the short period we are talking about, reinsertion is not probable.
But no, reinsertrion is not absolutely prohibited.
Take a peek at FCRA 611(a)(5)(B). That section permits a person who has previously reported, and then deleted, information, to reinsert the information, provided they file a "certificate of accuracy of the information" with the CRA. That is fairly easy for them to do, for it only requires a statement by them that the information is "complete and accurate." Then it can be reinserted. If reinserted, the CRA is required to provide notice to you, in writing, within 5 business days, of their reinsertion.
Not something that is probable.
I think you have a very supportive loan officer, who has evidence of unpaid debt, whether or not still in your CR, and is nonetheless not demanding its payment prior to loan settlement.
