Does anyone know how to read a DNB biz credit report?

my DNB report shows the following..

DNB 11-8-08

what does this mean?

is it saying that we pay 50% within terms & the other 50% are paid one day past 30?

any help would be great!

thanks

You need at least three creditors reporting a total of five times, before a paydex score will be generated.

Upon further review, you only have two payments being posted. One is within your terms, the other is within 30 days, but beyond your terms. Try to get a card or two, like Office Depot or Staples. Maybe a UPS account will help as well.

Re: Does anyone know how to read a DNB biz credit report?

thanks for the feedback.

got that part of it......about getting the paydex score.......the part that i am trying to figure out is the 50% - 50% under within terms & <31....what does this mean really?

that we pay our bills within terms......and the times that we don't....we pay them 1 day after they are due?

the 50% <30.....is that really bad?

thanks!!

No, it just means that you won't get the maximum Paydex score of 100. I do believe that you should be able to get an 80 though, if you get more accounts.

I am surprised that Staples and OD are not reporting.

Like you said, you paid one day after your due date, that is the reason. <30 will not kill you at all.

Re: Does anyone know how to read a DNB biz credit report?

Perhaps a call tothe CS depts of these non reporters, just to ask what is their reporting policy to D&B. Some might be reporting to EX or one of the other ones (names escape me at the moment).

any suggestions on getting staples, od, lowes or any of these reporting?

can i call them and ask for them to report (maybe wishful thinking)

i pay at least 1 - 2 times a month on these accounts...thanks!
