Does paying rent increase my Fico score?

I have lived in an apartment the past year and a half and was curious to know if all my on time payments were being reported. Is this something I need to ask the management at the apartment or are they required to report?

No they do not, however there is a new CRA called rent bureau which is trying to get landlords to report payment history information.

Paying rent does not increase FICO, but not paying rent does decrease FICO.
