I have several accounts that are on my report that are either ready to fall off o cannot be validated. So I see that I have new (not really) accounts on my CR. The CA that was trying to collect sold my account and know has been placed for collection. Does this mean I have to DV this CA? They are past SOL do they still have the right to collect?
Actually they can try to collect forever, beyond SOL and beyond CRTP. Like Sly mentioned, they cannot sue and win if you were to defend yourself in court, if it ever came to that.
