EZ Error Correction

If I were to use the myFICO EZ Error report feature to dispute things in my credit report through Equifax is that the same as asking for a debt validation?

For example - would sending this to Equifax work?

Re: EZ Error Correction

NOPE!!!

When you dispute with the CRAs   they notify the creditor....the creditor verifies with the CRA

You send a DV letter to a CA  only!   DV=  validation that the debt is yours and all info is correct!

The CRAs have no idea what a validation is!
