EliminateIDTheft - Expired Security Certificate?

Just wanted to check on people's recent experiences with this site.  I'd like to sign up, but visually speaking - the site looks like something that anyone could put together in a day and when I go to sign up it says the security certificate is expired which is always a little unsettling.

My PM123 price is apparently going up to $17.95 next month though, so obviously the couples offer from EIDT would be a better deal if everything is still running smoothly there.

Thanks for any insight!

Re: EliminateIDTheft - Expired Security Certificate?

I don't access MPM through eliminatedIDtheft, rather I go via myprivacymatters.com directly and seem to not see any security cert issues on either Chrome or Firefox.

Re: EliminateIDTheft - Expired Security Certificate?

Thanks Brokenpipe,  I checked out that site, but it appears that you need a promo code to sign up, and I can't find anything that's active.  I found a few threads from late last year that actually say that MPM isn't accepting new users through their site, only through other sites like EIDT.

Re: EliminateIDTheft - Expired Security Certificate?

I'm signed up through EIDT, but after my initial set up, I only had to go through EIDT once. I have the My Privacy Matters page bookmarked and I go right to that page.

Re: EliminateIDTheft - Expired Security Certificate?

I emailed MPM directly as I waited a week after signing up with EIDT and they gave my Member ID (starts with a P). Just have to enter my zip everytime.

works like a charm.
