Email from EQ

HOW IN THE WORLD DID THEY GET MY EMAIL ADDRESS??? its not on my paper work and I didnt use a cover sheet. I sent out three disputes between yesterday and the day before so I dont even know whihc one it is...

In order to view your updated credit report in its entirety, you will need
to order another copy either by phone, mail or online. The online copy
of your Equifax Credit Report (TM) is $10.50.

Jes,
EQ is full of poo, they have to give you a new credit report once they complete your dispute -- they are REQUIRED. Don't let them try to tell you that you need to buy another one.

That's really weird. I faxed to EQ a couple of days ago. I will let you know if they end up emailing me too. I wouldn't email back. Just wait until the dispute is over and hopefully you won't have to pay for the new CR. May be she just didn't know the rules.

It sounds to me like they only want you to pay for the online report.......but the other methods are free (ie, mail or request by calling).
