Equifax 3-1 Report or Wells Fargo ID Protection Plan???

Happy Holidays everyone :smileyhappy:

Quick question a few months back we opened a savings account or 2 at Wells and the rep got us to sign up for their Identity Protection Service for $15 bucks I thinks which seems reasonable, however we have had 1 problem after another with it, doesn't really daily alert and their reason was it takes them up to 10 days sometimes to update, Also it didn't work for the first month because we supposedly had a security freeze on our reports which we didn't.

Anyway was on Equifax website earlier noticed they have 1 too for like 3 bucks more, Is anyone familiar with these 2 services . If so which do you recommend, thanks in advance.

Starting Score: FAKOS EQ 627 TU 687 EX 627 CK 713 (12/12)
Current Scores: FICOs EQ 698 TU 708 (7/13)
Goal Scores : 720+ across the board..........no apps till Jan 2014

In wallet:CAP1 (Closed)/BOA CASH (5k)/DISCOVER (5.5k)/CHASE FREEDOM (3k)/BARCLAYS (3.3k)/AMEX BCE(1k)
Future wallet: Citi,

Welcome!

The WF service offers reports and scores, but they aren't FICO scores. They are non-FICOs we call FAKOs. Equifax.com offers a couple of 3-in-1 services, but the one featured predominantly (Credit Complete or whatever they call it now) offers a FAKO as well. I've used both services. IMO, while the scores and advice are useless, of the two, the EQ product was great because you can pull a full report anytime you want from EQ. These reports contain more info you can't find elsewhere including soft inquiries, full history, etc. Be sure to look at the CMS guide found stickied here somewhere.
