Last night I used the "Pre-Qualified Offers" section of Chase and the "Personalized Offers" section of Discover just to see if there was an pre-approved offers for me. In both cases it said there wasn't, but that is not surprising since I just opted back in to promotion offers last month.
Well the problem is, this morning I got an email from MyFico and from Equifax Alerts that I had two new inquiries, and I logged on to find that both Chase and Discover had HARD PULLED my credit when I used those features.
I am assuming this is an Equifax glitch but does anyone know what I should do to get them fixed? Both sites they said they didn't affect your score and it didn't, but they are clearing showing as hard pulls and I did not apply for either one. Trying to garden right now to get a mortgage in the spring so this is frustrating.
