Ever seen this...

My wife and I decided to pull her reports and we can't get TU for her because of this..

Sorry, an error has occurred... Thank you for your interest in FICO-Scored TransUnion Credit Profile. We regret we are unable to fulfill your order request because your credit report does not currently contain enough information to meet the minimum scoring criteria required to calculate a FICO® score. In order for a FICO score to be calculated, a report must contain:
  • At least one account which has been open for six months or more.
  • At least one account that has been updated in the past six months.
  • No indication of deceased on the credit report.
The minimum criteria is designed to ensure that there is enough recent information in the report on which to base a FICO score.

Re: Ever seen this...

Hmm. Only two things I can think of:
1. The accounts she has showing on EQ and EX don't report to TU
2. System malfunction

I'm gonna guess...................................2!

Re: Ever seen this...

Sometimes this will happen because creditors don't report to all three bureaus. Maybe there isn't any credit there to be able to determine a score. Are you sure there are listings on the TU report?

Re: Ever seen this...

Yes. This is the same issue I have with Experian. I believe they split my file between my maiden name and my married name. I have 3 baddies on the maiden name and host of goodies on the married name. However, the goodies are 5 months old. When I pull from Experian I get the maiden name report. So, I am hoping that when the good accounts turn 6 months old FICO will pull the good one. We'll see.

Re: Ever seen this...

Husband had the same thing happen when I tried to order TU from myfico...we went to TC and he had a security block.  He called them today and they reset his password and we were able to purchase TU at TC this afternoon.

Re: Ever seen this...

I will get her to pull down a TU report from them directly next week,
I am guessing there is not much to report as she has been a homemaker
for the past 12 years...
The good news is it will be easy to get her credit going I would think
and thank god for my bumbling of the credit on my side has not hurt her
at all as there is nothing from my side on hers other than a cc that I cosigned
a long time ago...
