Experian: Account in dispute under Fair Credit Billing Act

My gf disputed three entries on her Credit Report with experian: Two were paid chargeoffs (Macy's, First Premier). The third was an unpaid chargeoff.

The Macy's was verified and will still remain. The First Premier wasn't verified, so it dropped off of the report (score!). The third, an unpaid chargeoff from Credit One, is still pending. Here's where things get weird though.

There's a collections on her account (CACH LLC) from the Credit One balance. It used to show a status of "Collection Account", but now it says "No Status". Underneath, it says: "Your statement: Account in dispute under Fair Credit Billing Act" Does anybody know what this means? She sent a PFD to the CA, but has not received a response from them and she hasn't disputed it with Experian. Why would this suddenly show up as "in dispute" and "no status" if she disputed with Credit One, but not with the CA?

Nobody knows why a collection would show up as "Account in dispute under Fair Credit Billing Act" if only the OC was disputed, and not the CA?

This is not unusual at all-

You sent paperwork to the CA - Some of their SOP (Standard operating procedures) and how FCRA is read they SHOULD do this.

Congrats on the CreditOne delete!!!
