FICO vs FAKO

Im so mad I could just scream!!!  Ok, I know, I got too curious too quick to see if my PIFS had hit anything yet...got my 3 report and score from Consumerinfo.com.....BAD MISTAKE

Their  scores were 648/628/628
MyFICO now 628/562/574

WTF???????????? Ok, I know  FAKO/FICO not the same, but one would have at least though that they would have been close...or at least closer...

So who is more accurate here? How can  they clainm theres are  just as accurate as MyFico scores?

I called their  cust. svc...they said their scores were just as reliable andf that they were true FICOS.....argh......I have half  a mind to stop payment with my card...why oh why didnt I just sit and wait?

Re: FICO vs FAKO

The FICO vs. FAKO spread you posted is actually about average...I've seen disparities as high as 100 points!

Re: FICO vs FAKO

My FICO vs FAKO is way off as well. I am below 500 on my FICO and 580-590 on my FAKO

Re: FICO vs FAKO

FAKO TU was 711 went to 725
FICO TU was 756 then no change.

The only thing that the FAKO sites offer is unlimited pulls or at least once or twice a week.

Re: FICO vs FAKO

I am just so mad! Partly at myself for not waiting, but  also  the way other companies  jack us all around....
Thank god its Friday night  and the kids are in bed....DH is busy with computer games (as usual) so  I just get to sit here and stew....well that and enjoy my  Glenlivet....maybe enough of those and I wont mind so much anymore!

Just saw a glimpse of myself on these boards a few years from now... is it WoW that he's playing?  I can't even tell you how often I wish some form of natural disaster would strike the locations of their servers to get my bf off that game...

I'm sorry about your issue though.  My FIKO's were actually higher than my FAKO's for the most part when I first pulled them.  The more I see my fako's climb the more paranoid I get about pulling my ficos and being disappointed in the comparable rate of change haha

Re: FICO vs FAKO

Sorry to hear about your frustration.

This sounds familiar...

My FAKO's TU 667/EX 644/EQ 516
My FICO's  TU 647/EX 621/EQ no score (talk about frustrated try having no score, lol)

As another post said, FAKO's can vary wildly so my FAKO's were pretty good.

Seems the simple solution to end your frustration would be to stop pulling FAKO's. As to which one is more reliable, FAKO's are called FAKO's for a reason.

I don't know how they can claim to be just as reliable but I've seen worse BS when it comes to marketing.

Stick to FICO's.
