As I called my bank the other day (USBank) to get my APR lowered, they said "Hold on, let me check your TRIAD," to which I replied, "Listen lady, I'm not in any criminal syndicate."
Apparently, TRIAD is another scoring mechanism for banks in order to issue their customers yet another "credit score." How does the TRIAD compare with the FICO? My TRIAD score (assuming there is only ONE score, unlike FICO) is 649. Is this good? Is this bad? What's the min/max?
Why is there a TRIAD score when there's FICO? What's the difference, and how do I improve it? And why was Google so useless when I searched for this information?
