If you don't already have a good virus scanner, get one. I like and use AVG.
 
Anti-virus professional is $39 for 2 years. Norton and McAfee charge more than that for 1 year's protection.

avg also seems to cause a whole lot less aggravation and fewer annoying compatibility issues than the others too.
