First jump in 2 weeks!

Hey guys!

I just received an alert from SW that my score had gone up!  I checked and it was a 17 point jump on EQ.  The reason was my newly opened Hooters card with a $1000 CL.  I also signed up for Identity watch, and my TU jumped 18 points from Capone now reporting the CL this month.  I'm sooo happy!!   Thanks to everyone on this forum for all the helpful information!

ohc, your comment about identity watch intrigues me. Where can I find out about it? How much, do others offer it? I've seen it on some websites but have ignored it, but now's the time to become aware and protect myself. I want to start practicing 'safe credit'. lol

Sylviatob, I signed up for myFICO's Identity Theft Security Deluxe. More info here: http://www.myfico.com/Products/IDF/Description.aspx It monitors your TU report and notifies you on any change. I also found the product comparison page very informative: http://www.myfico.com/Products/Products.aspx

I am not sure which I am more impressed by.  You getting a 17 point increase or that SW actually sent an alert to you.
