GE Retail Cards

Have anyone gotten approved for 4 GE cards on the same day? I got approved for amazon and when I tried to use the card it was declined. So I call and find out GE closed all my accounts.. I'm waiting on a letter of reasoning now... Anyone else?

You apped for 4 cards from GE on the same day?  Did you have any prior history with them?

Yes. I have a Wal-Mart store card. It was closed also.

I'd await for their letter before calling them again. Opening several at once I guess is a big trigger with them. 

 

If the answer is definite and they will not open them, then I'd ask them to remove the CCs. They are allowed to report, but maybe with a little pressure you can get them to delete.

Wow, sorry to hear they closed them. Did you have anything negative pop up in your CR?
Did they not tell you over the phone why?

Nothing neg just the 4newly open accounts.. I'm hoping to get them deleted..waiting on the letter now.
