Has anyone had success with GW to Ford Motor Credit?

All the info on these boards seem to indicate they aren't too easy. Might want to try PFB if no results from a few written GWs.

I wrote a GW and they told me under no uncertain terms that they would not remove my one 30 day late payment. that they follow the strict rules set forth by the CRA and I would have to wait for the late to fall off. My car is even paid in full 2 years early too!
