I think what's going on is that Equifax is counting SLC Conduit + Navient who took it over as 2 accounts.. so the same one late payment is treated as two. That's the only explanation I have, as it's the same payment on each report, and SLC Conduit. On the 2nd of December NAvient already filed an expedited correction and we're waiting for that to clear.
What's strange to me though is that the Fico explanation also says "one account over 60 days late" or some remark.. I hope when Navient clears the SLC Conduit thing it'll all go away. It's over 5 years ago, but still.
Could this be moved to rebuilding credit, mods? Sorry for posting it in the wrong category.
