Good Site for Credit Monitoring

Hi I have used lifelock for 3+ yrs for identity theft. In the last two weeks, I applied for loans for a auto loan, got approved by two banks. One loan was issued to me, that I later rejected, and the second loan I took. None of this was reports to me by my basic lifelock plan. they said I need lifelock ultimate to protect all this information, which is $22.50 for a month, more than double than what I pay right now.

Is there any other reliable credit monitoring and identity theft service that people recc'd that I can use. Please let me know. Thanks.

There's a CMS thread precisely intended to be used as a reference (linked in Lexie's post).
