HUD -“three repository merged” (TRMCR), and Residential Mortgage Credit Report (RMCR)

Anyone familiar with these credit reports? Are they open to the public?

From HUD:

"The two types of traditional credit reports are the “three repository merged” credit report, also known as a “tri-merged” credit report (TRMCR), and Residential Mortgage Credit Report (RMCR). The minimum credit report required by FHA is the TRMCR.

No, they are only for lenders.

They are similar to the ones auto dealers use.

Three repository merged  credit report  is a three bureau credit report with scores (FICO).  The name of the report has its orgin in how the tradelines are shown on the report. If you have credit card that has reported to all thre bureaus the report would show that cred card once with compoite( Merge) of what the three bureaus reported. THE RMCR is a full checked credit report completed by a credit reporting agency. Full checked example be if a credit card balance had not reported recently the CRA would call and check the balance and the status of the account.  The first report is used more often than the second one.
