I am not really sure what to offer as advice other than maybe's. *Maybe* if my accounts were completely closed and I re-applied for brand new ones, it may have helped. I transferred a couple of new accounts to the new number. I was stupid and trying to save fees. I still don't know if that is the sole reason they merged, but you hear of people who have a brother or sister, son's and father's, etc close to the same name and city having merged files. Like I said, it doesn't take much. Hopefully a brand new slate will help. I can only change so much and move so far.
