Hard Pull for Signing on to Citi Free FICO Score?

Good Morning Friends,

I wanted to see what the collective wisdom was on the free FICO score for 3 month with Citi.  Do you think the do an initial HP?  this is what the fine print says:

No. It's a soft pull. Same as a prequal application

It is a soft pull. It will show when you check it, but will not affect your score. CreditKarma does same thing. I can see on my report all the free credit monitoring sites I log on to. Literally every time I sign in, it's there.

I’ve checked my EX report. It’s definatrly a SP. 

Mine had personalized offered. I’m assuming those will be HP, but haven’t heard anyone confirm either way yet. Most are disappointed by the offers. I know I was.

If you apply it will be a hard pull. CLI have all been SP.

It's a hard pull to apply for a card. With Citi, a CLI request can be either a hard or soft pull. Checking one's own credit is always a soft pull, no matter what the source of the information might be.
