How many points are hard inquiries worth?

I had one drop off a few days ago and it raised my EQ score 4 pts.

Interesting! 2pts - 4pts..  Perhaps the TYPE/Entity of inquery weighs heavier?

anything a person can do to remove these hard inquires?

I've been reading about the early exclusion where you call tu or ex and if they are 3-6 close to falling off they will take them off the immediately

6-10. But it's only a month

After 1 year inquiries won't affect your scores, but they will show on a report for 2 years.

YMMV, it's different for each file.  Could be 0 points, could be 1, could be 4.
