I applied for paypal credit last year in May 2016 (so it is a legit inquiry) and the same day the hard inquiry was added to my TU report. As of 2 days ago it JUST GOT ADDED to my EQ report. It is dated for May 2016. Any ideas why it would take them 10 months to add the inquiry?
Probably due to a bug in their database system, that sort of thing.
Since you state that it's properly dated, for almost a year ago, it is not likely to be affecting your score too much at this point and probably not at all come May.
