Hard pull beyond SOL?

can a collection company (asset acceptance) make a hard pull on my CR for a debt that is Beyond SOL? (10 years old) without my consent?

I'm sure they can if they just purchased the account.  Just be ready with the SOL letter, send it CMRRR and be done with it but keep an eye on itSmiley Happy

It's a little ambiguous as to whether they have PP after the SOL is up. They can argue they can attempt collection indefinitely (even though you have an affirmative defense if they should sue you) and that gives them PP.

An SOL letter should put it to rest.
