Has anyone tried TU Instant Message Updates?

Here's the link: http://www.truecredit.com/messenger

Looks like it's entirely free, but I wonder if there's a catch somewhere.

I tried it when it first came out several years ago. Don't waste your time installing on your computer.  The alerts are rare.  There's no catch to it.  It only lets if you know if changes has been made on your account. It doesn't say what are the changes.   They figure if they alert you of changes, you'd buy a new credit report.

Thank you! I knew there had to be a "catch" somewhere! That makes sense now.
