I have a letter from the former collection manager of the Utilities Company to clear my report. Date 9/05 for $44.54 and I have paid it back in 2005 and the CRA would not delet it and the CA verified it and correct. A closed/paid/collection acct. I called the current collection manager and she stated to fax the letter and she would look into and get back with me. I have not heard from the company and I have called twice and left a message and I have not receive a returned call. What should be my next step? Should I call and ask for someone over the collection manager? PLEASE HELP EVERYONE!
