Help!!!!!

A debt popped up on my credit report that my son incurred when he was a teenager.  He is now 20 years old. Is there anyway I can transfer this debt to him? I have been working on my credit for the past year and now this. Anyone who can help me please do.  Thanks

Re: Help!!!!!

I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will chime in but by law if the debt occurred when he was a minor, he's not legally responsible. I think the parent has to pay the debt.

Re: Help!!!!!

I agree with both Babygirl and scrambling. However, what was the debt? Also, what's your state's SOL and the DOFD/DOLA for the debt? Who is reporting on your CR?
