Hitting 700

Hi All, new to this forum.

I am trying to get my scores to 700+. Currently @ TU 685,EQ 667,EX 685. I have no debt exept my mortgage and my car loan(3 months left on it). I have credit cards but do not use them. I had some 30 and 60 days lates but no charge offs or BK. These happened about 2-3 years ago. In was in between jobs at that time and fell behind, i was maxed out on everything. I was blessed to find a great job and have been debt free so to speak for 3 years. All cards are paid off and have credit lines between 3000-25000. What is my next step?

Thanks and what a great forum!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Hitting 700

Send GW letters to the companies with lates.  If they will remove them, then you will see your score shoot up into the 700's (I think).

Also, watch out for inquiries.  They will lower your scores if not careful.

Keep paying on time!  Time is your friend, even though I struggle with that sometimes myself.

Starting Score: 583 EQ, 612 EX, 569 TU
Current Score: 658 EQ, 648 EX, 618 TU
Goal Score: 720 EQ, 720 EX, 720 TU
