Holy crap! Credit score increased...a lot!

So, i went through the dispute process with an account that had closed due to missed payments that was now all paid off. The disputes through experian and equifax went through and deleted the account off of my reports.

experian: 695==>707
equifax 693==>750!

can't wait to see how the disputes work out through transunion!

Thank you all for teaching me what I can do to help myself!

I just wish I had done this 2 months ago so I could have used these scores to get my mortgage rate down!

Just got my TU score after the dispute was finalized... 692==>717!!! So...now 717 is my middle score...wish I woulda had that when I was applyign for my mortgage!!!

How did you dispute these accounts?  I have several that I have disputed in the past and they were never deleted.  Would you mind giving me some more details and pointers?
