How do you remove an item that's in dispute status in you credit report?

I disputed a few items over two years ago and want to remove them from Dispute Status. Just wondering if anyone knows how to get this done?

Here's a thread I found in the mortgage board in march 2011, that I believe you may find to be helpful.

Can not guarantee the phone and fax #'s still work, but it's worth a try. Let us know how it works out.
