How does being an authorized user on another's credit card affect FICO score?

I am an authorized user on one of my boyfriend’s credit card accounts.  The balance on this account is $10,000.  I want to be removed as an authorized user on this card immediately.  Will the $10,000 balance remain on my credit report?

Pretty soon, Fair Isaac will eliminate the benefit for authorize users in scoring your fico scores.

Concerning being added as authorized user I heard that the benefits will soon be nil, but what about being added as a joint account user?
