I am making this question in regards to my dad. My dad had exactly 22 credit cards, as you can imagine from every single place. He had them all with $0 balance so it wasnt like he was in debt. However, he was told that having so many cards would deter his credit so he closed down 20 of them and only kept 2 credit cards, one from Suntrust with a $33,500 credit line and one from Bank of America with a credit line of $22,500. However, we keep hearing different opinions and basically dont want to guide ourselves by whatever people say and hear-say. Is having 2 credit cards with both a good credit limit good enough? Thanks.
