How to approach this?

I was making payments to a ca through auto debits (I know, pre-forum), the payments stopped showing up under the original ca and are now posting under another. However the only the original ca is showing and updating on my crs. Is it possible they assigned it to another agency rather than selling it? What approach is best to take to find out?

At this point, I would just call them and get a status update. Cant hurt any, since you have already been paying the debt.

Call and speak to someone else. You dont' have to give SS#.  I do not believe it would be legal for them to pass along your bank information, whether they sell it or not.

Who was the first CA and who is debiting payments now?
