How to change the Address that appears on my credit report?

I could easily use the shopping cart trick, however the popup only appears when I enter my old address. I dont want whatever store card I get to be sent to my old address. How do I change the address thats on my credit report?

You'll have to contact the CRAs directly- they will have you send in verification documents referencing the new address. Keep in mind, if any of your creditors use your old address, it will update again when they report monthly.

The shopping cart trick is so named because you place items in your 'cart to see if a pre-approval would pop up.  These are SP's and based on Comenity Backed credit cards only.  For more information
