When my student loans first became payable, I missed the payment start date. I ended up with 90 lates on each loan (except the one that really was due when I thought). That was over 5 years ago, and those were the only late payments I have ever had on them. I paid on those loans for about 2 years before consolidating them through another loan servicer. Again, all on time. Is there anything I can do to get the lates removed from my credit? Since there were so many little loans, they make up about 5 hits on my credit. They were Federal loans - subsidized, unsubsidized, Perkins, etc, if that makes any difference. If you have any suggestions, could you please be specific as to where can find information, forms, letters, etc, needed? THANK YOU!
