I finally hit my goal

After many years my one and only blemish fell off of my EQ repor todayt,  28 days shy of 7 years.  This resulted in a 78 point increase on my  report.  I also pulled my TU and EX reports and to my delight  I  fell  into the 800 club across the board.  Needless to say,  I am a very happy camper.  It has been a long time coming,  and I can't tell you what it means to have all three reports perfectly clean.

Re: I finally hit my goal

Congrats I plan to be in your shoes eventually. I figure at best I am looking at somewhere around Mid 2017. As I will have 2 baddies that last until 2016 and 2017 that I will have to wait to drop off.

EQ04 675, EQ08 676, EX08 719, TU08 703 $12704.75/$123050 Revolving Credit (All 0% or 1.99%) - In Garden Since 5/25/2016

Last negative item should fall off in July 2017.

Re: I finally hit my goal

Congrats on your success

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

I am so pleased to hear that the issue is now in the past!

I have an ugly issue I am just waiting for time to heal as well.  My wife and I went through a foreclosure during some very ugly times a couple of years ago, but are moving on.  We are working hard to get the scores back up, however no doubt are being held down until the foreclosure falls off.  Regretfully, about five years to go.

Again, congratulations!  It is great to see that you are in the 800's!!  Smiley Happy

Re: I finally hit my goal

Patience,  ( waiting for the PR to drop ),   and not applying for unnecessary cards is what did it for me.
