I just checked the application status page for Amex and found out I was approved for the Starwood card. It said I would receive the card in 7-10 days. Is there a number I can call to get the credit limit? Thanks!

I did apply for the delta gold on 06/04/07. It was approved with a limit of 3200. Waiting so long to apply for the starwood card did cost me another inquiry. Thank you for the phone # Fused111. The limit on the starwood is 5000. That may not sound like a lot to some peolpe , but I'll take it

Did you get a CLI at activation?  5K is high for that card at activation.  Sweet!

No, I haven't gotten the card yet. Just the approval message. I'm just really impatient and couldn't wait for the card to come in the mail to find out the credit line. I may try for a cli in about 6 mths. What do you think?

Don't have to wait that long. Try in 2-3 months.

I got approved for a starwoods amex with a CL of 2000..Asked for CLI and the message said the request is in progress and they will let me know by man in 7-10 days


guess thats a denial..I ahve 3 other amex

amex one - no preset spending limit
amex skymiles - 3000 CL
and amex blue - 2000 CL

May be I got turned down due to the number of cards that I have

How long have you had these other cards?

I know people who have eight Amex cards. So it's not necessarily the number you have.
