CREDIT CARD offers in the mail. I mean having different pre-approval letters for Capital One, Fifth Third and department stores in my mailbox. lol Its been a loooooooooooooooon time since that has happened. How do these companies get your credit ratings anyway to send you offers? Always wondered. Have a great week ....

Promotional SP's.  Make sure you're opted in.  Hit the opt in/out site.  Link is in many other discussions.

That said, don't rely on offers or prequals.  Sort out your needs/wants and use that to select cards that suit you.  Don't let a creditor's marketing department decide for you.
