I'm confused!

I worked hard to get my credit score to 760. Long story short, my bank didn't send an automatic bill payment it was supposed to, I took one hit to my record, my score dropped below 700, I appealed it, the late payment was taken off and my score on MyFico has gone back up to 760. Problem is, my report on the Experian is still a dismal 680 or so and the missed payment still shows up there on all the reporting agencies. What's up with this?

Re: I'm confused!

The CRAs, except for rare circumstances, usually relating to identity theft-related issues, dont share data.

The creditor must make separate update of your payment history to each CRA to which they reported.

Contact the creditor, and ask them to update with each CRA.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to be thick headed here. I understand what you're saying about the CRAs not sharing info, but all the ones thru MyFICO show, the bad mark gone but the other reporting places such as this one, still show the late payment and lower scores. That's what I'm not understanding?

Hi naf!

Where are you pulling your reports from? Are you saying that you pulled your reports from here (myFICO - your TU & EQ reports), and the derog is gone? Where, other than here, did you pull your reports and scores?
